Orioles Projections

Most people have the O's coming in 4th in the AL East, but that would be making them an underdog. Here's why. First of all, with the signings of Nelson Cruz, Delmon Young, Jonathan Schoop, Steve Lombardozzi, Quentin Berry, and more, Baltimore will make the new players welcome. Also with a great mix of experience and youth, Birdland will be buzzing with excitement this season. So here is where they will place this year. Coming in 3rd in AL East behind Red Sox and Yankees. 1. Red Sox 2. Yankees 3. Orioles 4. Rays 5. Blue Jays The Red Sox will come in first because they just one the World Series Champions. Also, re-signing some stars and new players will once again stack their lineup. The Yankees will come in second because their offseason. Signing Tanaka, Ellsberry , McCann, Roberts, and others really helped them. Plus, in the captains last season they will have the momentum to push them forward. Also, returning veterans will put them in an opportunity for the 29th ring. Although, I do not think the Orioles will make the playoffs, they are in a rebuilding stage that will help them in the future. By: @BaltimoreMLB
